    I think you gave some very good advice. Concentrate on what you can do . I still have my tablet and my phone, but I cannot watch television anymore no matter how big the screen is.. Too big is no good, too small it's no good. Basically I just listen . My tablet is my connection and I don't know what I would do without it. But I'm still limited on my abilities to navigate websites and so forth. I have found in a world where everything everything, everything is done online, there is very little help . I was signing up for health care for my husband recently and said I'm visually impaired and really need some help with this. I was told OK well just go to the website.... Very little assistance in stores . People just don't get it.. Fortunately I still have my husband to help me Since I had to give up driving. But I was one of the lucky ones and was not diagnosed until I was in my late thirties. I had 2020 vision until then And my impairment started slowly so I was able to experience life Without hindrance for the most part. Everything just takes longer now. And there is no perfection. But that's OK.

    ruclips.net/video/1CL2TSqcEFo/видео.html A. the first pilot that never aired had a Latino actress for the yellow ranger. After the first pilot was made she wanted more money so they let her go. B. The creators wanted the tallest actor to be the Red Ranger and Austin St. John was the tallest C. The show was largely going to use Japanese footage from Super Sentai and in many scenes The Blue Ranger was displaying scientific and technical no how and they wanted the Blue Ranger in power Rangers to match that. D. They wanted two girls on the team so despite the Yellow Ranger being a guy in the Japanese version, they made the US Yellow Ranger a girl E. They had hired Walter Jones before the final determination on which Ranger he would play was decided but they wanted the tallest of the five to be the leader and Walter Jones didn't look the part of a stereotypical genius so making him the blue ranger was out. The yellow Ranger was originally supposed to be played by an actress with a latin background. That leaves Black and Pink.

    Defending yourself against a criminal that's trying kill,rape or rob you isn't murder it's self defense. As an Irishman from Dublin I completely agree and stand by the 2nd amendment that has allowed me to protect myself and my family on 4 different occasions my gun has saved lives. So respectfully disagree with you my friend.

    Irish people have really high violent tempers and drinking problems and add guns to the mix and I can see why they hate guns.Yea dumb asses should not own guns!! And a small team of navy seals can take over that libtards country in one night. A bunch of people that have to drink to fight but still cannot fight lol Ireland will always be a land of victims hmm the fighting Irish my ass!!

    Many people with low vision find the use of filters help. Making the movie/show black and white or even monochrome can sometimes help them make out what’s on the screen. Tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/-A7IBryoIwg/видео.html Another option is to use a gear VR and netflix or hulu. This of course with only help with nearsighted low vision impairments.

    Yea give your guns away so only the bad guys have them, and so you have nothing to protect yourself from the government, and nothing to protect the first amendment and the rest, smart.....

    Hello there I'm Sam, I am also legally blind I can definitely relate to what you are saying when it comes to TV and video games I'm completely blind in my right eye and just a little more than halfway blind in my left eye I have very low visual acuity subtitles are impossible for me to read even if I'm looking at them at a distance I also miss a lot of action on the TV or the cinema screen because I too can only see one specific area at a time yes I can constantly scan by turning my head back and forth but that gets a little uncomfortable after a while. I also have nystagmus which is involuntary movement of the eyes that makes it very hard for me to focus on anything for a long time. what I would suggest for you in movie theaters and at home when it ever it's available use a service called audio description it's a narration track that describes everything that's on the screen including subtitles you might want to check with your local Cinema see if they offer that I know services like Netflix and Amazon Prime offer that on some content I also use adaptive devices magnification special glasses but yes take them into a movie theater would make you look suspicious so I also don't do that. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi how are you, I also have Stargardts And like you I was diagnosed when I was 7 years old, I am 28 now and everything you describe i can relate to also regarding your vision however I don’t see double when I focus on objects close up instead I just frustrate my eyes and give myself headaches . I use my camera to do the exact same things as you I think it’s brilliant for getting around public transport, airports etc.. some days can be more difficult than others especially when driving is out of the option and a long day can feel like a much longer day dealing with all the extra challenges but the fact that I can get out and about and do pretty much all I need and want with a few exceptions is perfect enough. I come from a family who have been in the motor trade all their lives and I am a huge car fan so you can imagine how devastated I was even at 7 to be told it was a big No driving is not going to happen I’m afraid. It certainly hasn’t stopped my interest at all. There’s so muchI have done and still can do with limited vision even driving on a race track, goKarting , horse riding , tennis, American football, rugby anything I wanted to do I did it just did it in a different way and that’s the key to it I think. Personal question are you Irish your accent sounds Irish sorry .

    I've been dx for nearly 9yrs. Reg blind. I work at a restaurant, and it can be so f*cking hard sometimes! Colleagues don't understand and think I use it as an excuse to be lazy or am selective about what I can see. Customers obviously can't know, it's an invisible disability. I've never had issues with accepting this part of me, I have a lot of pride around my independence. I started my job n the same day as two other girls, they subsequently received training for other tasks like making coffee, serving food, doing the till. I was never trained to do anything despite asking, and have been left in a position of washing pots every shift. My manager said she didn't train me to do anything, and thought she would "leave me to my own devices" because of my vi. She has basically given zero support or accommodation, I have a right to be trained to do what other people can, within reason, right? She thought the compassionate thing to do would be to leave me alone, my boyfriend says it's just an excuse for her lazy management. 7 people have started work there after me and have surpassed me, ability wise. They all received training. For nearly 6 months I agonized why I was being left out, thinking I wasn't being trained because I was rubbish or they didn't give a shit about me, and kinda gave up trying hard to impress at my job because I felt robbed off.

      It can be rough, I have had friends getting work just because they had disabilities just so the employer could feel good about themselves or feel a quota. I feel like that in my current job where my boss doesn't seem to complain much about my mess ups but Ive seen him chastise others for less. On one hand its kind of nice but on the other Im not being treated as an equal even for the bad stuff. I guess all you can do is tell your boss you want more, although with people like that theyll see you as the a-hole and being ungrateful rather than realising what they're doing

  • @VyncentGrimm
    @VyncentGrimm 6 лет назад

    I know exactly how you feel. I have Choroideremia, long story short, the nerves in the back of my eye dont get enough blood flow so they die off overtime. This gives me night blindness, light sensitivity, and is eroding my peripheral vision. Im at less than 5 degrees now which is like looking through a paper towel roll. I feel your pain as I already have to sit in the back of the theatre just to see enough of the screen to know whats going on and adding subtitles, especially when theyre not in the same place everytime really makes it hard to enjoy a film. When I do read them its all I see so like you I miss everything else happening on screen. Next time you go, ask the theatre if they have audio discriptor equipment a lot of theatres do, but dont make it known for some reason. Essentially its a headset that explains whats going on. Kind of like listening to an audiobook about the film while watching the film. It helps. It still takes you out of the film a bit, but if the film has subtitles or is filmed very dark, the audio discriptor does a good job of filling in what you dont see. I hope they do, and I hope this helps. Thanks for sharing, knowing others feel your struggle always seems to help. Best regards.

    I like your outlook. You have a similar mentality to myself. I was diagnosed with Stargahdts 8 years ago, and it got more apparent quickly. Adapting is the nest way to live with this and realise it could be so much worse, but mainly concentrating on what i can do and not what I can't do.

It's short, but it is also cheap and actually a good game. Has it share of jumpscares though. Great atmosphere and great arcade fun.
